Privacy Statement

All information in Jira and Confluence is processed in accordance with the Employee Privacy Statement (for Red Hat associates) and Online Privacy Statement (for external individuals).

Atlassian stores application cookies as defined in Atlassian's cookies & tracking notice.

Information stored in Red Hat’s Jira instance may be processed by artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities, including those provided by third-party service providers, to analyze data, identify trends, make predictions, and provide AI-generated responses.

Red Hat’s instance of Jira and Confluence are covered by Red Hat's Terms of use. 

What personal information is processed?

Atlassian processes the following personal information for product and functionality access, including AI:

• Account information (necessary for logging in)

  • Name

  • Email address

• Profile information (optional)

  • location

  • job title

  • photo

Users can control the visibility of many of their profile attributes, including email address, by navigating to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility.

Account Deactivation

Red Hat associate Atlassian accounts are managed and can be deactivated or deleted by Atlassian org administrators. External users can initiate the deletion of their accounts.
